Sergio Salvador Aguirre Anguiano

Sergio Salvador Aguirre Anguiano is an attorney, author, and lecturer, focusing his current litigation efforts through his office, Aguirre Anguiano Y Asociados, Sociedad Civil, as well as through active participation in Fundación Aguirre, Azuela, Chávez, Jauregui, Pro Derechos Humanos.

Beginning in 1975, Aguirre served for 20 years as the associate Notary Public number 24 of Guadalajara, issuing approximately 58,000 public documents. In February 1995, Aguirre was appointed and elected as a Justice of the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation, where he was part of the Second Chamber, and presided in two periods. Aguirre completed the constitutional established time as a Justice in November 2012.

Aguirre studied Law at Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara from 1960 to 1965. He is the author of several legal books and contributor to various collective works. Aguirre has also delivered lectures at the Universidad Panamericana of Guadalajara.
