Veritas Scholar & Legal Analyst
Gregory Chilson is one of three Veritas Scholars for 2018-19 serving as a legal analyst for the European Advocacy Team for ADF International in Vienna, Austria. In this role, he conducts legal research for ADF International in a variety of areas. He engages in both popular and legal writing and has represented ADF International at a number of international events.
Prior to joining ADF International, Chilson was a summer graduate research assistant at the University of St Andrews where he assisted in the edition of a supplement of the unpublished letters of C. S. Lewis. He has been involved in mooting, serving as the GDL Master of Moot at Oxford Brookes. He has also assisted in coaching for the national client interviewing competition.
Chilson studied Theology and Biblical Studies at the University of St Andrews, gaining a Master of Theology with Honours, where he specialized in medieval spirituality. Chilson was also a Divinity scholar at St Mary’s College, St Andrews for three consecutive years and recipient of the James McGlashan Scott memorial prize in Divinity for his dissertation. He began doctoral research before changing gear and sitting the law conversion, which he completed at Oxford Brookes University.
