Legal Counsel, London
Laurence Wilkinson serves as legal counsel for ADF International in London. A specialist on freedom of religion and freedom of speech under the European Convention on Human Rights, Wilkinson was previously based in Strasbourg, where he litigated cases at the European Court of Human Rights and advocated for the protection of religious freedom, life, marriage and the family at the Council of Europe.
Prior to joining ADF International in 2015, Wilkinson qualified as a solicitor in London with the international law firm of DLA Piper, specializing in commercial litigation. He received a First-class Degree in Law with American Law from the University of Nottingham, which included one year at the University of Texas at Austin.
