Lois McLatchie

Veritas scholar & Legal analyst

Lois McLatchie serves as a Veritas Scholar and legal analyst for ADF International in Geneva. Undergoing the Veritas training program in advocacy and communications, McLatchie’s scholarship focuses on the United Nations where she engages in the triannual UN Human Rights Council meetings. Working alongside Giorgio Mazzoli, McLatchie provides Member State representatives with key legal resources and amendatory language that promote religious freedom and the inherent value and dignity of every person.

Prior to joining ADF International, McLatchie served as an intern at the US Mission in Brussels promoting the business interests of US companies within the EU trading zone. Formerly, she also worked in Washington, DC for the Commission on Security and Cooperation in Europe, promoting human rights and security across the OSCE region.

McLatchie graduated with a distinction in her LLM Human Rights Law degree from the University of Kent, Brussels campus in 2018. She also holds an MA (Hons) in International Relations from the University of St Andrews. During her studies, she participated in the Areté Academy and Blackstone Legal Fellowship, where she completed extensive research on the pro-life perspective of surrogacy.
