Christine Uhlig serves as Veritas Scholar, Europe, for ADF International in Vienna, Austria. In this role, Uhlig supports the advocacy team with research in their work around religious liberty, sanctity of life, and family. She has a particular interest in hate speech laws and the transgender debate in light of how these issues impact future generations. Previously, Uhlig worked at the Evangelical Alliance in Glasgow, Scotland, as a Research Assistant, working on policy matters at Scottish Parliament, networking with Members of Scottish Parliament, and writing articles in conjunction with running their social media channels. In the summers of 2017 and 2018, she worked as a European Advocacy Intern at ADF International in Vienna, primarily supporting the wider team in a research capacity. Uhlig holds a BA (Hons) in Law and Psychology from the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, where she lived for 5 years and was active in a variety of ministries to the homeless. During her studies, she took part in Areté Academy in 2019. She speaks fluent English, German, and Spanish.
