Ján Tomaštík is a Veritas Scholar for ADF International in Vienna. Serving as a member of the European Advocacy team, Tomaštík provides support by drafting legal and political documents on issues including right to life, religious freedom, and parental rights. His work relates to a range of international and national forums. Tomaštík is currently completing his Master of Arts in political science at Masaryk University in Czech Republic, with a specialization in democratization and human rights. His final thesis elaborates on the development of Catholic political thought in relation to liberal democracy after World War II. After receiving his Bachelor of Arts in political science and international relations at Masaryk University, Tomaštík developed his academic and personal profile by completing a one-year liberal arts program at Collegium of Anton Neuwirth in Slovakia. While at university, Tomaštík served for two years as a board member of the Youth Council of Slovakia, where he was appointed a coordinator for international cooperation and helped protecting youth organizations against undue interference from the state.
