Restrictions on religious freedom at all-time high, EU’s top position addressing persecution still vacant
Government restrictions on religious freedom have reached their highest levels globally. Despite this finding of a recent report from the Pew Research Center, the EU has left the position of the Special Envoy for the promotion of freedom of religion or belief outside the EU in limbo.
