The world’s largest abortion provider was exposed as selling baby parts for profit. When will the European Commission stop funding it?
The International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF) is the largest non-governmental provider of abortions in the world.
In the summer of 2015, a series of undercover videos were released which exposed the illegal nature of some of the group’s activities in the US. Top-level employees were captured on film negotiating the sale of aborted baby body parts for profit.
In Europe, IPPF is partly funded by EU money. The videos raised serious concerns that this money is funding similar atrocities across Europe.
When the news about US Planned Parenthood broke, ADF International created a campaign – Defund IPPF – calling on the European Commission to stop funding the world’s largest abortion provider.
In October 2015, along with like-minded organizations, ADF International brought the issue to the heart of the EU. We co-hosted an event at the European Parliament in Brussels to uncover the truth about IPPF: You Can’t Put a Price on a Baby’s Heart. Live Action President Lila Rose was the Keynote speaker at the event, which was backed by several MEPs.
Through the Defund IPPF Facebook page, the campaign team keeps people informed about the IPPF scandal and what actions they can take to see it defunded in Europe.
