She advances the advocacy objectives of ADF International by crafting legal communications and executing media outreach for the organization\u2019s work across the globe.<\/p>\n<p>Koren\u2019s expertise is in international human rights law and the protection of fundamental freedoms. Her focus areas include the right to life, conscience, and parental rights in relation to state sovereignty and the international institutions. She previously served as Director of UN Advocacy for ADF International, spearheading advocacy efforts at UN Headquarters and the Human Rights Council for ten years.<\/p>\n<p>Koren has been published widely in various media outlets, including Newsweek, National Review, and Public Discourse. She regularly participates in speaking engagements and training seminars on international human rights.<\/p>\n<p>Koren obtained a J.D. and a M.A. in international relations at the University of Toronto in 2011. She also earned a B.A. in political science at McGill University in 2008.
