In denen tr\u00e4gt er Schilder mit Spr\u00fcchen wie \u201eKinder k\u00f6nnen Pubert\u00e4tsblockern nicht zustimmen\u201c und f\u00fchrt dar\u00fcber in Europa und ganz Amerika Gespr\u00e4che mit Leuten auf der Stra\u00dfe. Seine Videos sind weltweit bekannt geworden. Nun hat Chris Elston erfolgreich eine rechtliche Anfechtung gegen die australische \u201eeSafety Commissioner\u201c-Beh\u00f6rde eingereicht. Diese hatte einen Online-Beitrag zensiert, in dem Elston Gender-Ideologie kritisierte. Unterst\u00fctzt wurde er dabei juristisch von ADF International.<\/p><p>Am 1. Juli 2025 entschied das Verwaltungsgericht (Administrative Review Tribunal) zugunsten von Chris Elston und hob eine beh\u00f6rdliche Anordnung auf, die versucht hatte, seinen Beitrag auf X (ehemals Twitter) gem\u00e4\u00df dem australischen Online Safety Act, einem australischen Gesetz zur Regulierung von Online-Inhalten, zu zensieren.<\/p><p>Mit der Unterst\u00fctzung von ADF International und der Australian Human Rights Law Alliance (Allianz f\u00fcr Menschenrechtsrechte in Australien) erhob Chris Einspruch gegen die Verletzung seines Rechts, seine Meinung friedlich kundzutun. Auch X reichte Klage ein. Das Tribunal in Melbourne verhandelte die Klage zur Verteidigung der Meinungsfreiheit vom 31. M\u00e4rz bis zum 4. April 2025. Februar 2024 teilte der Familienvater Chris Elston, der auch als \u201eBillboard Chris\u201c bekannt ist, auf \u201eX\u201c einen Artikel der britischen Zeitung Daily Mail mit dem Titel: \u201eDunkle Geheimnisse von UNO- Trans-Experten enth\u00fcllt\u201c.<\/p><p>Der Artikel und der dazugeh\u00f6rende Tweet kritisierten die Berufung von Teddy Cook zu einem \u201eExperten- Panel\u201c der WHO (Weltgesundheitsorganisation), das f\u00fcr Leitlinien zum Thema Transgender verantwortlich ist.<\/p><p>Cook erhob eine Beschwerde bei der australischen Regulierungsbeh\u00f6rde \u201eeSafety-Commissioner\u201c, die daraufhin X dazu aufrief, den Inhalt zu l\u00f6schen. Die Plattform, die Elon Musk, einem bekannten Verfechter der freien Meinungs\u00e4u\u00dferung, geh\u00f6rt, weigerte sich zun\u00e4chst, das zu tun; als jedoch seitens der Beh\u00f6rde eine offizielle Anordnung folgte, sah X sich dazu gezwungen, den Artikel in Australien zu sperren.<\/p><p>Billboard Chris legte mit Unterst\u00fctzung von ADF International und der Australian Human Rights Law Alliance \u2013 und gemeinsam mit Elon Musks Plattform \u201eX\u201c \u2013 Berufung gegen die Verletzung seines Rechts ein, seine \u00dcberzeugungen friedlich zu \u00e4u\u00dfern. Dass Menschen in manchen Teilen der Welt, in der es strenge Blasphemie-Gesetze gibt, f\u00fcr ihre \u201efalschen\u201c Aussagen bestraft werden ist uns nicht neu \u2013 doch jetzt sehen wir, dass auch in unserer westlichen Welt, in L\u00e4ndern wie Australien, Mexiko und Finnland, von der Regierung vermehrt autorit\u00e4re Schritte gesetzt werden, um unbeliebte Meinungen zu unterdr\u00fccken, oftmals indem man sie als \u201ebeleidigend\u201c, \u201ehasserf\u00fcllt\u201c oder als \u201eFalschinformation\u201c bezeichnet. &#8222;In einer freien Gesellschaft sollten Ideen auf Ideen treffen, nicht auf staatliche Zensur.
