Oktober 2025)<\/strong> \u2013 Der Oberste Gerichtshof Finnlands wird am 30. Oktober 2025 den Fall der finnischen Parlamentsabgeordneten P\u00e4ivi R\u00e4s\u00e4nen und von Bischof Juhana Pohjola verhandeln. Beide waren zuvor bereits zweimal einstimmig von den Vorw\u00fcrfen der \u201eHassrede\u201c freigesprochen worden, nachdem sie \u00f6ffentlich ihre christlichen \u00dcberzeugungen ge\u00e4u\u00dfert hatten.<\/p><p>R\u00e4s\u00e4nen ist \u00c4rztin, ehemalige Innenministerin und seit 1995 Mitglied des finnischen Parlaments. Sie wurde 2021 wegen dreifacher \u201eVolksverhetzung gegen Minderheiten\u201c angeklagt, weil sie \u00f6ffentlich ihre Meinung zu Ehe und menschlicher Sexualit\u00e4t ge\u00e4u\u00dfert hatte. Die Anklage bezog sich auf drei \u00c4u\u00dferungen: die Brosch\u00fcre \u201eAls Mann und Frau erschuf er sie\u201c aus dem Jahr 2004, eine Radiosendung von 2019 sowie einen Tweet im Juni 2019 , der sich an ihre Kirchenleitung richtete. Auch Bischof Juhana Pohjola wurde angeklagt, weil er R\u00e4ns\u00e4nen\u2019s Brosch\u00fcre aus dem Jahr 2004 ver\u00f6ffentlicht hatte. Die Staatsanwaltschaft hat die Anklage im Zusammenhang mit der Radiosendung in ihrer Berufung zum Obersten Gerichtshof fallengelassen.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-8c931de elementor-blockquote--skin-border elementor-widget elementor-widget-blockquote\" data-id=\"8c931de\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"blockquote.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<blockquote class=\"elementor-blockquote\">\n\t\t\t<p class=\"elementor-blockquote__content\">\n\t\t\t\t<span style=\"color: #AF272F\">\u201eFreie Gesellschaften d\u00fcrfen friedliche Meinungs\u00e4u\u00dferungen niemals kriminalisieren. Dennoch musste P\u00e4ivi R\u00e4s\u00e4nen \u00fcber sechs Jahre lang Verh\u00f6re, Gerichtsverfahren und Berufungen \u00fcber sich ergehen lassen \u2013 nur weil sie \u00dcberzeugungen geteilt hat, die in ihrem christlichen Glauben verwurzelt sind.  <\/span>Das Ergebnis dieses Verfahrens wird einen Pr\u00e4zedenzfall schaffen \u2013 nicht nur f\u00fcr Finnland, sondern f\u00fcr die Meinungsfreiheit in ganz Europa. Sie begr\u00fcndet dies damit, dass die Gerichte zu einer falschen Schlussfolgerung gekommen seien \u2013 was im finnischen Rechtssystem zul\u00e4ssig ist. Nach wie vor fordert sie mehrere Tausend Euro an Geldstrafen und die Zensur von R\u00e4s\u00e4nens Ver\u00f6ffentlichungen.<\/p><p>Der Fall hat weltweit Aufmerksamkeit erregt, da Menschenrechtsexperten ihre Besorgnis \u00fcber die Gef\u00e4hrdung der Meinungsfreiheit in Finnland und dar\u00fcber hinaus zum Ausdruck brachten.<\/p><p><strong>Prozess wegen eines Tweets<\/strong><\/p><p>Die polizeilichen Ermittlungen gegen R\u00e4s\u00e4nen begannen im Juni 2019. R\u00e4s\u00e4nen \u2013 selbst Mitglied der finnisch-lutherischen Kirche \u2013 stellte in einem Tweet die offizielle Unterst\u00fctzung ihrer Kirchenleitung f\u00fcr die Helsinki Pride Parade 2019 in Frage. Dazu postete sie ein Foto mit Bibelversen aus dem ersten Kapitel des R\u00f6merbriefs.<\/p><p>Daf\u00fcr wurde sie \u00fcber mehrere Monate hinweg insgesamt 13 Stunden lang polizeilich verh\u00f6rt. Dabei forderte die Polizei sie auf, ihr Verst\u00e4ndnis der Bibel zu erkl\u00e4ren.
