April) \u2013 Das Posten eines Bibel-Tweets k\u00f6nnte in Finnland nun eine mehrj\u00e4hrige Haftstrafe zur Folge haben. Die Generalstaatsanw\u00e4ltin erhob eine Strafanklage mit drei separaten Anklagepunkten gegen die finnische Parlamentsabgeordnete P\u00e4ivi R\u00e4s\u00e4nen. Der ehemaligen Innenministerin drohen bis zu zwei Jahre Haft pro Anklagepunkt. Die f\u00fcnffache Mutter und sechsfache Gro\u00dfmutter, die im b\u00fcrgerlichen Beruf \u00c4rztin ist, muss sich f\u00fcr sogenannte \u201eHassrede\u201c verantworten. Sie hatte ihre Meinung zu Ehe und zur menschlichen Sexualit\u00e4t in einer Brosch\u00fcre im Jahr 2004, einem Kommentar in einer Radiosendung 2019 und zuletzt in einem Tweet, der an ihre Kirchenleitung gerichtet war, \u00f6ffentlich ge\u00e4u\u00dfert.<\/p><p><span style=\"font-size: 1rem; letter-spacing: 1.1px;\">\u201eEs f\u00e4llt mir schwer zu glauben, dass mir eine Haftstrafe droht, weil ich meine religi\u00f6sen \u00dcberzeugungen \u00f6ffentlich \u00e4u\u00dferte.\u00a0 Ich habe niemanden bedroht, verleumdet oder beleidigt. Meine Aussagen \u00fcber Ehe und Sexualit\u00e4t basieren auf biblischen Lehren\u201c, sagte P\u00e4ivi R\u00e4s\u00e4nen. \u201cIch werde das Recht meinen Glauben zu bekennen, weiterhin verteidigen, auch damit andere ihr Recht auf Glaubens- und Meinungsfreiheit k\u00fcnftig wahrnehmen k\u00f6nnen. Ich bleibe dabei, meine Aussagen sind legal und d\u00fcrfen nicht einfach zensiert werden. Ich werde nicht klein beigeben. Ich werde mich nicht einsch\u00fcchtern lassen und meinen Glauben verstecken. Je mehr wir als Christen zu kontroversen Themen schweigen, desto enger wird der Raum f\u00fcr die Redefreiheit.\u201c<\/span><\/p><p>\u00a0\u00a0<\/p><p><b>Strafrechtlich angeklagt wegen Aussagen aus religi\u00f6ser \u00dcberzeugung\u00a0<\/b><\/p><p><span style=\"font-size: 1rem; letter-spacing: 1.1px;\">Die polizeilichen Ermittlungen gegen R\u00e4s\u00e4nen begannen im Juni 2019. Als aktives Mitglied der finnisch lutherischen Kirche wandte sie sich damals an die Bisch\u00f6fe ihrer Kirche und hinterfragte deren offizielles Sponsoring der LGBT-Veranstaltung \u201ePride 2019\u201c. Dazu postete sie ein Foto eines Bibeltextes. R\u00e4s\u00e4nen musste bereits mehrere lange Polizeiverh\u00f6re \u00fcber sich ergehen lassen und wartete mehr als ein Jahr auf die Entscheidung der Generalstaatsanw\u00e4ltin, ob sie die Strafverfolgung fortsetzen w\u00fcrde. Diese Entscheidung ist nun gefallen. ADF International wird weiterhin R\u00e4s\u00e4nens Fall unterst\u00fctzen und sich f\u00fcr das Recht aller einsetzen, ihre \u00dcberzeugungen frei teilen zu d\u00fcrfen.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-size: 1rem; letter-spacing: 1.1px;\">\u201eDie Redefreiheit ist ein Grundpfeiler der Demokratie. Die Entscheidung der finnischen Generalstaatsanwaltschaft, diese Anklage gegen Dr. R\u00e4s\u00e4nen zu erheben, schafft eine Kultur der Angst und Selbstzensur. Es ist ern\u00fcchternd, dass solche F\u00e4lle in ganz Europa zunehmen. Wenn engagierte Abgeordnete wie P\u00e4ivi R\u00e4s\u00e4nen strafrechtlich angeklagt werden, weil sie ihre \u00dcberzeugungen \u00e4u\u00dfern, dann hat das eine einsch\u00fcchternde Wirkung auf das Recht eines jeden, frei zu sprechen\u201d, sagte Paul Coleman, Gesch\u00e4ftsf\u00fchrer von ADF International und Autor von \u201cZensiert \u2013 Wie Hassrede Gesetze die Meinungsfreiheit bedrohen\u201d.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-size: 1rem; letter-spacing: 1.1px;\">Seit 1995 ist R\u00e4s\u00e4nen Abgeordnete des finnischen Parlaments, leitete die christdemokratische Partei zwischen 2004 und 2015 und war finnische Innenministerin zwischen 2011 und 2015.
