Switzerland\u2019s highest court has decided parents separated from their daughter for refusing to endorse her gender \u201ctransition\u201d must enable their child\u2019s legal \u201csex change\u201d or face the possibility of criminal charges.<\/b><\/p>\n

Backed by ADF International, the parents had appealed to the Swiss Federal Supreme Court following two lower courts ruling that they had to hand over their daughter\u2019s identity documents so her legally recorded sex could be changed. <\/p>\n

A further appeal to the European Court of Human Rights is being considered to protect the parents\u2019 rights to care for their daughter without state interference.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\"\"\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n

These parents are living every parent\u2019s worst nightmare<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

A young girl expressed gender confusion just before turning 14.<\/p>\n

Her parents sought mental health care for her, rather than following the advice of a local public hospital to put their vulnerable daughter on life-altering puberty blockers. During this time, her school began to \u201csocially transition\u201d <\/strong>her, referring to her as a boy against the wishes of her parents.<\/p>\n

The school and the hospital have worked in conjunction with a trans-activist organization and the state child welfare agency to push for the girl\u2019s social, legal, and, potentially, physical \u201ctransition\u201d<\/strong> by way of dangerous medical interventions.<\/p>\n

For seeking to protect their daughter<\/strong> from the irreversible harm that these interventions may entail, the parents have been accused of \u201cabuse\u201d.<\/p>\n

They have had their daughter ripped away from them simply for trying to protect her.<\/p>\n

\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\"\"\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n

Switzerland must act now to restore this child to her parents and address the egregious overstepping on the part of the school, hospital, and child welfare agency that allowed this nightmare scenario to unfold.<\/p>\n
