Julio Pohl

LEGAL COUNSEL, LATIN AMERICA

Julio Pohl serves as legal counsel for Latin America with ADF International. As part of the team, he monitors the Latin American region and the Organization of American States, while also assisting allied lawyers in litigation to protect the right to life, religious freedom, and the family.

Pohl earned his law degree at the National Autonomous University of Honduras, where he graduated top of his class. After graduation, he practised for seven years in corporate law, investment law, and data privacy at an international boutique law firm in Tegucigalpa, Honduras. 

Pohl holds an LLM in human rights from the University of Navarre in Spain, where he is currently finishing his Doctorate in Law. He has published scholarly articles in top-rated law journals in Spain and Latin America. Before joining ADF International, Pohl conducted research at the De Nicola Center for Culture and Ethics at the University of Notre Dame.
