Elizabeth Francis Brink serves as Legal Counsel, Global Religious Freedom for the ADF International Global Religious Freedom team, based in the United Kingdom. Her responsibilities include advocating for persecuted Christians and other religious minorities through litigation, policy, and legislation work, primarily focusing on the Middle East, North Africa and Sub-Saharan Africa regions.

Prior to joining the Global Religious Freedom team, she worked for three years in the ADF UK team, where she defended parental rights, freedom of speech, and religious freedom. Before that, she worked for an international consultancy firm advising global institutions on regulatory and compliance matters. She has also held legal consultancy positions at the UK Ministry of Justice and the World Health Organization.

Elizabeth has participated in numerous short-term Christian initiatives and pro-bono legal activities in East Africa, South Asia, Eastern Europe and the Balkans, and has sat on the Boards of international missionary and pregnancy support charities.

Elizabeth holds undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in law, specialising in international human rights law. She is also a UK-qualified solicitor.

Statement of Faith

Based on our adherence to the inspired, infallible, inerrant, and authoritative Word of God in Scripture, we profess with the Christian Church throughout time and around the world the faith expressed in the Apostles’ Creed:

I believe in God, the Father almighty,
creator of heaven and earth.
I believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord,
who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,
born of the Virgin Mary,
suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, died, and was buried;
On the third day he rose again;
he ascended into heaven,
he is seated at the right hand of the Father,
and he will come to judge the living and the dead.

I believe in the Holy Spirit,
the holy catholic Church,
the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body,
and the life everlasting.
