Elizabeth Francis serves as Legal Counsel, Global Religious Freedom for ADF International in London, United Kingdom.

Elizabeth Francis serves as Legal Counsel, Global Religious Freedom for the ADF International Global Religious Freedom team in the United Kingdom. Her responsibilities include advocating for persecuted Christians and other religious minorities across the world through litigation support, policy, and legislation work.

Prior to joining the Global Religious Freedom team, she worked for three years in the ADF UK team, where she defended parental rights, freedom of speech, and religious freedom. Before that, she worked for an international consultancy firm advising global institutions on regulatory and compliance matters. She has also held legal consultancy positions at the UK Ministry of Justice and the World Health Organization.

Elizabeth has participated in numerous short-term Christian initiatives and pro-bono legal activities in East Africa, South Asia, Eastern Europe and the Balkans, and has sat on the Boards of a European Christian political network and a pregnancy support charity. She currently serves as a Trustee of an international missionary organization that works in the least reached nations, and as a Trustee for a missionary book distribution charity.

Elizabeth holds an LL.B degree in Law and an LL.M in International Law and Human Rights with distinction from Warwick University, as well as an M.A. in International Socio-Legal Studies from the University of Nottingham. She is a UK qualified solicitor and participated in the Blackstone Legal Fellowship programme in 2011.
