Summit on Religious Liberty

Equipping you to make a difference

The ADF Summit is run by Alliance Defending Freedom, a partner of ADF International, and is an exceptional programme that seamlessly combines unmatched legal training with an unwavering commitment to Christian principles. More than 2,000 lawyers have participated in this unique programme since its establishment in 1997. More than 200 of those attendees have represented nearly 50 countries. While the topics covered—and even the structure of the Summit itself—have changed throughout the years to respond to the most pressing issues and needs of the alliance, the overarching goal remains the same: to equip attendees to effectively advocate for religious liberty, the sanctity of life, and marriage and family. Attendees also become part of an ever-expanding global movement, working together to transform our legal culture.

The Summit brings together Christian attorneys from around the globe, specializing in all areas of private practice and public service. Participants engage with renowned faculty and participate in a scholarly examination of issues such as natural law principles, constitutional jurisprudence, and worldview development. Daily worship and devotions reinforce the importance of core beliefs to the practice of law.

Statement of Faith

Based on our adherence to the inspired, infallible, inerrant, and authoritative Word of God in Scripture, we profess with the Christian Church throughout time and around the world the faith expressed in the Apostles’ Creed:

I believe in God, the Father almighty,
creator of heaven and earth.
I believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord,
who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,
born of the Virgin Mary,
suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, died, and was buried;
On the third day he rose again;
he ascended into heaven,
he is seated at the right hand of the Father,
and he will come to judge the living and the dead.

I believe in the Holy Spirit,
the holy catholic Church,
the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body,
and the life everlasting.
Amen.
