Inter-American Commission on Human Rights to hold first-ever hearing on religious freedom in Latin America

SAN JOSE, COSTA RICA (27 October 2022) – On Friday, 28 October at 4 p.m. EST, the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights will hold its inaugural hearing on religious freedom in Latin America.
At this event, human rights experts, including ADF International’s Director of Advocacy for Latin America, Tomas Henriquez, will address the Commission, calling attention to the surge of egregious violations taking place in the region, amounting to a crisis of religious freedom.
The public hearing—The Situation of Religious Freedom in the Region—will be livestreamed on the Commission’s Facebook, YouTube and Twitter accounts.
