This submission addresses the widespread resort to disability-selective abortion, particularly targeting children with Down Syndrome and other congenital conditions. It further highlights violations of the rights of children and their parents arising from Iceland’s Act on Gender Autonomy, together with related restrictions on freedom of expression.
