Jonas Fiebrantz

ADVOCACY OFFICER, UNITED NATIONS

Jonas Fiebrantz serves as Advocacy Officer, United Nations, for ADF International in Geneva, Switzerland. In this role, he contributes to the legal advocacy work at the Human Rights Council and its Universal Periodic Review, as well as interacts with other international organizations and state representatives in promotion of religious freedom and inherent human dignity. He is also receiving training in international advocacy, and human rights law.

Prior to joining ADF International, Fiebrantz worked with the World Evangelical Alliance in Geneva on the right to freedom of religion or belief. Fiebrantz completed an MA in Peacebuilding and Conflict Resolution at the University of Bradford, UK. He also holds a degree in International Relations & International Organization, as well as a degree in Philosophy of Social Sciences, both from the University of Groningen, NL. His research specialization was institutional peace processes, human rights, and the role of culture in shaping both.
