Kelsey Zorzi

Kelsey Zorzi serves as Vice President of International Advocacy with Alliance Defending Freedom. Based in Washington, D.C., she oversees strategic legal advocacy and alliance-building efforts across the Middle East, Africa, Asia, and Latin America, as well as at the United Nations and the Organization of American States. She works with a multinational network of attorneys, government officials, and international institutions to challenge legal barriers and advance fundamental freedoms worldwide.

She also leads efforts to address and counter persecution of Christians and other religious minorities worldwide, and has worked on several cases before supreme courts across the Middle East and Africa. In 2018, she was elected president of the United Nations NGO Committee on Freedom of Religion or Belief. She currently serves on the Council of Experts for the International Religious Freedom or Belief Alliance, a coalition of more than forty governments collaborating on international religious freedom initiatives.

Zorzi earned her J.D. from The George Washington University Law School, where she participated in the GW–Oxford International Human Rights Law Program. Her writing has appeared in The Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal, The Hill, and RealClearPolitics. She is admitted to the bar in New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut.
